I was in Alacatı in May 2019. Probably because I went before the season started, but when the weather was warm enough, I enjoyed it immensely and did not encounter the legend called Alacatı's crowd. After wandering around the quiet streets of Alacatı for 2 days, as quiet as an Indian cow, I must say that I love Alacatı very much. I wrote with pleasure about Alacatı, which showed me its beautiful face.

When to go to Alacatı and how to get there?

Alacatı is about 70 km from İzmir, and if you don't get caught in traffic, it takes 45-50 minutes. If you do not have your own vehicle, you can take the Alacatı buses from İzmir Üçyol. After arriving in Alacatı, it is already easy, you can walk in Alacatı and go to the beaches by bus.

If you ask when to go to Alacatı, I think the months of May, June, September and October are ideal. It gets very crowded in July and August, but for those who like the crowd and chirpy, these dates are also suitable.

As for Alacatı accommodation, I stayed at Alacatı Casa Bella, one of Alacatı's famous boutique hotels, and I was very, very pleased. It was very clean, the operators were friendly, and it was very close to the center. I recommend it with confidence.

Alaçatı Beaches – Where to Swim in Alaçatı?

The most famous beach of Alacatı is Delikli Bay, which is 10 km away from the center. This is also a frequent destination for campers, and you will see that the surroundings of the bay are full of young people who have set up their tents, lit their fires, and chat. I love this spirit!
